The video commentaries by GM Jan Markos proved popular. After a break, we continue with a new video. This time, best slovak chess player looks into a very recent game of world’s No.1, GM Magnus Carlsen and GM Viktor Bologan.

The match took place at the Biel International Chess Festival 2012. Due to a peculiar scoring system, Magnus Carlsen did not win the tournament, nevertheless this particular game is verz interesting. The theme of Jan Markos’ commentary is: The neutralization of opponent’s initiative.

I appreciate Jan Markos effort but>>this is a friendly advice…1) You should talk more slowly and emphasize what you want your audience to know… you are close to mumbling..If you watch Dzindzi’s video maybe you would learn a little how to slowly emphasized your point so we could understand you more..Like Kasparov video..He is a great chessplayer but if you watch his video he talked so fast that you could not grasp what he is trying to point out. You get more confused and retain a little..

Oh by the way i like the video i know it is a Benko Gambit Accepted and if i could only follow what you are trying to say i should have learn something new. I have a book “An Opening Repertoire For The Attacking Player’ by Raymond Keene and David Levy where they have a chapter on Benko Gambit.I have used the Benko Gambit accepted and Declined in some of my games..It is a good opening. I did not get the end of your video was it finished???

Great video. I don’t find the commentary too fast at all, but English is my only language.
It’s great to have a grandmaster explain a game, even more so as he’s experienced being on the receiving of end Bologan’s benko gambit.
Keep them coming and I might be paying to join the site!
