The video series by Jan Markos continues with another edition (now in Full HD quality), in which he discusses the match between Azerbaijani Mamedyarov and Russian Morozevich. The game took place at the recently played Vladimir Petrov Memorial in Latvia.

Morozevich played excellently over the whole rapid tournament. Besides Mamadyerov, he also defeated Kovalenko (UKR), Khairullin (RUS) and Fridman (GER). Morozevich has achieved the score 5/7, winning the tournament and surpassing the only home player, Alex Shirov. Shirov, after many years with the Spanish representation, decided to play under the Latvian flag again.
