As tournaments are becoming more popular with our users, we spend a lot of time developing and improving them. You may have already noticed our latest update, nevertheless, it brings some major innovations worth mentioning.

It always shows you featured tournaments, so you do not miss the most interesting events, such as simultaneous exhibitions with famous grandmasters. It also provides a peek to an ongoing tournament and allows you to visit tournament archive.
If you wish to view future tournaments, feel free to visit Scheduled section. Here, you can easily find tournament most suitable for you, along with basic information such as starting time, time control and rating criteria. You may find detailed information by clicking on “Show details” button.
If you are interested in the history of tournaments held at ChessFriends.com, you may visit our tournament archive. Clicking on a “Show details” button will once again provide you comprehensive information on a selected tournament.
Information on a particular tournaments has also become more convenient to find. You can easily view detailed description, requirements, start lists and rules of a tournament. For past tournaments, a round-by-round game archive is available, along with final standings.
