New Feature: Tournaments

Our team has made available an awesome new feature – Tournaments. All tournaments are for free and everyone is invited to play!

Over 300 competitions have been played on ChessFriends.com! Maximum number of participants in single tournament was 41.
Chessfriends.com Tournaments are a realistic simulation of live chess tournaments simulating seeding, pairing, results, tie-breaks and the play itself.
There are three types of tournaments according to time control – Bullet Tournaments (3m + 0s), Blitz Tournaments (5m + 0s) and Rapid Tourneys (10m + 0s). A few players are playing by Round-robin system and more users play Swiss-system tournaments.
Users can view round list, pairings, tournament seed and standings after each round. There is also display of average opponent rating and rating performance in the tournament statistics.
