2011 ChessFriends.com Championship

There are more than 76 thousand players registered at ChessFriends.com. More than 800 of them are playing games at the peak time of the day. The community of ChessFriends.com doubled in the past year. The feeling that we are growing is satisfying for the whole team, but one provoking question ensues: Who is the best player at ChessFriends.com? The only way to find out is the great tournament.

Therefore, we decided to host the biggest tournament of the year 2011 to celebrate upcoming year 2012. Here comes the 2011 ChessFriends.com Championship. Everybody can attend and prove his or her worthiness. The tournament takes place on 30th December 2011, at 19:00 GMT. It will be played utilizing the Swiss system of 9 rounds. Each player will have 5 minutes at his disposal at every game played, with no additional time per move.

The registration is happening right now, so do not hesitate and join it. Apart from personal satisfaction, the winner also gets this trophy, which will be visible in his or her profile.
