Let’s Checkmate 5 Times From Zmatlik

Chess problems given here are suitable for players around 1500 FIDE rating. The task here is to mate in 2 or 3.

These are problems from past century. Karel Zmatlik selected them for his chess book during the World War I. That time he was preparing the second edition of this book – „Šachy, Rukověť praktické hry” (Chess – practical play vademecum).

The problems were checked for errors by chess Master Oldřich Důras.
