Match of the Decade to Commence Tomorrow: Carlsen vs. Anand

There is 20-year long gap between the two contenders. The older is the current World Champion, the younger is the highest-rated player of all time. 2013  World Chess Championship in Chennai, India will be a real battle.

World’s Chess Championship torunament is scheduled from 9 to 28 November 2013 in Chennai, India. The tournament will be held in 12 games, with possible tie-breaks.

Both players have a chance to win this match, along with a hefty prize (reportedly, the prize fund is $3.5 million) and a World’s Champion title. While Vishy Anand (43) is the defending champion, Magnus Carlsen (22) qualified in a Candidates tournament, facing the likes of Kramnik and Aronian.
